Ingredients
1/3 cup quick cooking steel cut oats
3/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg (optional)
3 tablespoons carrot (finely grated or chopped)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon walnuts (chopped)
Instructions
Place steel cut oats, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, carrot and maple syrup into a large bowl and stir.
Microwave for 3 minutes.
Stir and top with walnuts and more maple syrup and cinnamon, if desired.
